Organization Overview:  The Michigan Muslim Bar Association (“MMBA”) is an organization composed primarily of attorneys and law students from Michigan and the Great Lakes Region. The MMBA was founded to provide a forum for Muslim and non-Muslim lawyers and law students interested in and committed to: (1) promoting diversity within the legal profession, and (2) the economic, educational, social and professional advancement of Muslim attorneys and law students in Michigan. The MMBA offers an environment that stresses inclusion, collegiality and community outreach among its members; building on the Islamic tradition of practicing and promoting equality, kindness, tolerance and service.
